In support of your health care initiatives centered on electronic prescribing (ePrescribing), Argus has been providing ePrescribing connectivity since June 2006, maintaining the exchange of batch and interactive transactions.
These systems support simple prescribing activities and integrating health plan benefit designs with diagnosis and treatment alternatives. The physician can also pre-adjudicate the claim during this process to determine the preferred product and how it will price. Argus is fully compliant with the CMS requirements for ePrescribing as mandated for January 1, 2010. |

Physician access to specific member information during the patient visit
Our ePrescribing transaction portal provides valuable information regarding the member at the time they are writing the Rx. Enhanced information is available at point of care, including copay expense.

Argus provides monthly ePrescribing reports to all of our customers as an attachment to their monthly invoice. The reporting includes transaction information down to the customer level. These reports are also available to you through our ad hoc web-based reporting tool. Argus logs information about each transaction into an audit file. This includes member information, physician identifiers, and point of care vendor identifiers, and can be used to create customized reports in support of your Healthcare Reform outcomes.
